BOULDER, CO – Registration opens March 5th for the 14th annual Rocky Mountain Advanced Computing Consortium’s (RMACC) High Performance Computing Symposium, set for May 21-23 at the Wolf Law Center on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder.
For information about sponsorships or registration visit: https://hpcsymposium.rmacc.org. For questions contact rmacc@colorado.edu.
The multi-track symposium, which brings together faculty, researchers, industry leaders and students, offers presentations from industry and educational leaders, two Keynote presentations, and a wide array of panel discussions and tutorials. Special sessions also are offered for students and newcomers to HPC, providing the opportunity to learn about careers in the HPC field, according to Becky Yeager, the RMACC’s executive director and Symposium coordinator.
Registration, which includes all sessions and meals, is $175. Thanks to generous sponsor support, student registration – including for graduate students – is being offered at the heavily discounted rate of just $30. And the popular student poster competition is back with the opportunity for poster winners to earn an all-expenses paid trip to either SC24 in Atlanta, Ga., or PEARC24 in Providence, RI. More information on poster submissions can be found at https://hpcsymposium.rmacc.org/poster-competition
This year’s keynote speakers are Al Anderson, Chief Information Officer at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, MT, and Dr. Kayla Sprenger, Assistant Professor in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department and faculty member in the Biomedical Engineering Program at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Oracle is the Symposium’s lead sponsor, and Dell and Kalray are the reception sponsors. Other major sponsorships are from Intel, Starfish, Cambridge Computing, Omnibond, DDN, Mark III and AWS with additional support pledged by Globus, Arcitecta and Spectra. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain.
