ISC 2024 Annouces Winners of Student Cluster Competition

The ISC 2024 Student Cluster Competition welcomed 19 virtual and eight in-person teams. The in-person teams competed at ISC 2024, while the virtual teams competed using the Bridges-2 supercomputers at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh), as well as the supercomputer HLRE-4 Levante at Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum (DKRZ).

The online competition winning teams are:

1st place: Sun Yat-Sen University of China – members: Tengyang Zheng (Captain), Kezhou Lu, Bo Yang, Ye Huang, Yuewen Huang, Ruihan Zheng; advisors: Prof. Dan Huang, Prof. Zhiguang Chen

2nd place: Tsinghua University of China – members: Runqing Zhang, Xingye Yuan, Jingbo Shan, Xue Zhiyu, Kai Yang, Jiaqi Pan; advisors: Jidong Zhai, Wentao Han

3rd place : Nanyang Technological University of Singapore – members: Zhang Danxu (Captain), Chanpaisit Nattapol, Maison Sapol, Saeng-Nil Natthakan, Ng Woon Yee, Bryan Shan Guanrong; advisor: Dr. Loke Yuan Ren, Lee Bu Sung Francis

The in-person competition winning teams are:
