San Diego, Nov. 11, 2023 – GigaIO, a provider of workload-defined infrastructure for AI and accelerated computing, today announced that Dell customers can now order GigaIO solutions from their Dell sales team or local Dell reseller. The recently introduced SuperNODE , a 32-GPU AI engineered solution on a single node, is now available with Dell PowerEdge R6525 or Dell PowerEdge R7525, opening new opportunities for servers that were previously limited to just 8 GPUs.
“Dell OEM is happy to welcome GigaIO to their Engineered Solution Program,” said John Holleran, Dell OEM HPC / AI Business Development Manager. “The GigaIO SuperNODE is a turnkey solution available directly from Dell; this solution will deliver unprecedented accelerated computing capabilities by attaching up to 32 GPUs to a single 1U AMD PowerEdge server!”
GigaIO first introduced the 32-GPU SuperNODE at ISC in Hamburg earlier this year, at the time breaking records with 32 GPUs on a single node. The SuperNODE provides outstanding scaling and radically shortens time to results without customers having to change a single line of code. In advance of SC23, GigaIO just announced the launch of the world’s first 64 GPU single-node supercomputer, called SuperDuperNODE, providing customers working in generative AI and HPC with a way to double their performance.
“Following several successful joint installations at TACC, the University of Chicago, and Vrije University in the Netherlands, among others, GigaIO is thrilled to have delivered the proven value and reliable technology that Dell Technologies customers expect, and be accepted in this turnkey solutions program,” said Alan Benjamin, CEO of GigaIO.
To celebrate this sweet new partnership and the ability to provide new capabilities for Dell customers, attendees of the Dell HPC Community meeting on November 13th in Denver will be treated to chocolate bars made in Carlsbad, the home of the SuperNODE.
The GigaIO SuperNODE is shipping now, available directly from Dell, Supermicro, and selected channel partners, and the SuperDuperNODE will ship by the end of the year. Learn more about the SuperNODE at the GigaIO booth (#2031) and see it in the Arc Compute booth (#633) at SC23 in Denver.
