The Argonne Leadership Computing Facility will host an online workshop to learn about the ALCF’s new GroqRack system on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 6 and 7 from 1:30 to 5 pm Central Time. To register go here.
The ALCF said the Groq machine’s AI inference capabilities can assist users in making predictions, discovering patterns in data and accelerating time-to-solution for complex science problems.
The online workshop will introduce attendees to the Groq architecture and the software stack and provide hands-on training to get started with the system.
Topics include:
- An overview of GroqRack hardware and software stack
- Using GroqFlow and running models on the system
- Deep dive on large language models
- Using the MLAgility tool
- Best Practices
The full agenda can be found on the registration page.
The facility also said that any researcher with an ALCF account is encouraged to attend and participate in the hands-on session. However, those new to the ALCF can attend the webinar, but will not be able to log into the system to participate.
