At ISC 2024: DDC’s Chris Orlando on Air-Liquid Hybrid Cooling for High Density Infrastructures

At ISC 2024, we were given a tour of the DDC booth with the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Chris Orlando, an evangelist for DDC’s hybrid air-liquid cooling cabinets designed for data centers handling high-density HPC and AI workloads.

As Chris explains, here, DDC delivers power efficiencies while also easing the transition to higher demand, compute-intense environments. DDC cabinets are designed to deliver a less expensive build with lower power use, while helping solve dense cabling deployments and ensuring airflow per kilowatt of power deployed targets, he said. The DDC platform, originally proven successful in Scale Matrix’s data centers, now is available to enterprise organizations and service providers.
